UNIVERSAL PEDESTAL

Designed for superior strength, durability and adaptability, the universal pedestal head integrates with all panel systems. Finished floor heights from 70mm to 1200mm are achievable with standard products.

Bespoke solutions for lower and higher options are available.

The universal pedestal head design accepts all panel systems, simplifying specification, installation and future modification. All pedestals have an adjustment of +/-20mm.

Construction

Each pedestal is a fully zinc plated after manufacture, for superior strength and anti-corrosion performance. The steel locknut, enhances in-service stability and prevents changes in adjustment due to vibration.

Two tube sizes cover the standard range:

  • 25mm diameter for heights from 70 - 650mm.
  • 32mm diameter for heights from 60 - 1200mm.

Anti-vibration caps in precision moduled ABS, snap-locked to the pedestal, prevent detachment and movement during installation or access. The cap incorporates cruciform upstands for positive location and modular control. Each cap is specifically designed for each system

Standard

The universal pedestals exceed the requirement of PSA MOB PF2 PSU, recognised as the most demanding specifacation in the world.

Pedestal Fixing and Stringers

The normal fixing method is by bonding to the subfloor with structural adhesive. Provision for mechanical fixing and stringers are standard on all pedestals.
